2.Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him).

 The unwise response of   the  chiefs of the nation;

 Since Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) did not worship idols, going against the collective way of the nation, and moreover, he invited the nation to refrain from this matter and to worship only Allah, so the leaders of the nation said: That we are definitely seeing you in open error due to taking a different path from the collective behavior of the nation. This event is described in Surah Al-A'raf as; The chiefs and nobles of their people said: (O Noah!) Verily we see you in open error (afflicted).

Surah Al-A'raf, verse: 60

Prophet Noah's compassionate response;

After listening to the response of the leaders of the nation full of ignorance and stupidity, showing the perfection of the people, Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) said: O my people! There is no misguidance in me, but I have been sent by my Lord as a Messenger to guide you, because when a worldly king does not appoint an inexperienced and ignorant minister or entrusts him with an important position, then Allah Almighty, who is all He is the king of kings, how can he exalt someone with low knowledge to the position of prophethood? And I am conveying to you the messages of my Lord, which He has sent to me, and I wish you well, and I know things from Allah, which you do not know, that Allah, the Exalted, is Mighty. His grip on enemies is extremely tight .

And none can avert the punishment of the transgressors, and do you deny me and wonder that there came to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he might lead you to disbelief and sin? Be warned of the end of it, and you should adopt piety and piety, and because of this, you will be shown mercy. The answer of Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him) has been mentioned in Surah Al-A'raf of the Holy Quran as follows: He said: O my people! There is no misguidance in me but (the fact is) that I am a Messenger (sent) from the Lord of the Worlds.

I am conveying to you messages from my Lord and admonishing you and I know from Allah what you do not know. Do you wonder that a reminder came to you from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you (of divine punishment) and that you become pious, and this is because upon you Be merciful

Surah Al-A'raf, Verse: 61 to 63

In Surah Hud, the preaching of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) has been mentioned in two words; And surely We sent Noah (peace be upon him) to their people, (he said to them:) I am a warner for you. That you worship none but Allah, I fear for you the punishment of a painful day Surah Hud, Verse: 25, 26 Here the painful day means the day of judgment or the day of the storm and the day is figuratively painful because it is said that painful punishment will be revealed on that day.

Three objections to Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) by the leaders of the nation;

After listening to the call of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him), the disbelieving leaders of the nation made three objections and tried to make their people believe that he (peace be upon him) is not a prophet.

The first objection to Hazrat Noah

You are common people like us and you have no special superiority over us, so how can we believe that you are a prophet and obeying you is obligatory on us.

Second objection to Noah

We see that the people who have followed you have no value in their own nation and they are poor and poor people and they have done the act of believing in you without any consideration. .

The third objection to Sayyidna Nuh (peace be upon him)

 The third objection raised by the people of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) was that they did not see anything in you that would give you superiority over them, because you neither had much wealth nor a state, i.e. There were properties and lands. These objections of the chiefs of the nation are mentioned in Surah Hud of the Holy Quran with these words

So the disbelieving chiefs and leaders of their people said: To us you appear to be a mortal like our own, and we have not seen any (respectable person) following you except our (community) having a superficial opinion. of the lowly and despicable people (who have thoughtlessly followed you), and we among you have any superiority and superiority over ourselves (that is, power and authority, wealth and wealth or any such prominent aspect for the purpose of the inclusion of big people in your congregation) ) do not see, but we consider you a liar

Surah Hud, verse: 27

Looking at today's situation, it is surprising that the mentality of people who are away from religion and disgusted with religion has been going on for thousands of years that they make fun of the poor, no matter how religious they are.

An invitation to reflection before objections

Before answering the objections, Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) invited his people to think and think and said that if I am right, and Allah Almighty has given me prophethood from Himself, but you do not think and think. What should I do if you are ignorant of the reason? In other words, is it your fault or mine to not understand the truth due to your thoughts and feelings? Should I force you to accept my prophethood while you are disgusted with it? It is not my job. I am only commanded to convey the message of Allah to you.

As for the fact that I don't have wealth and that is why I have started this da'wah in the name of conveying the divine message so that I can get wealth and wealth from you, then listen! This assumption of yours is completely false, I do not ask you for any reward for the preaching of the Messenger, my reward is on the responsibility of Allah Ta'ala, so do not deprive yourself of the hereafter because of this wrong assumption. . And as for declaring my followers bankrupt and poor, which requires that I drive them away from me, then listen that because of you I will not drive the poor Muslims away from me, because this is the Lord Almighty. In the presence of those who have the honor of presence and the virtue of closeness, why should I keep them away from me because of you?

(Sawi, Hud, Subh Al-Ayah / Tafsir Kabir, Hud, Subh Al-Ayah: 28)

The demand of chiefs of infidels

Hearing the answer of Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him), the infidel leaders said, "O Noah! You have debated with us a lot, it is clear that we do not listen to you and you do not listen to us, so now if you are truthful, bring upon us the punishment that you are threatening us with. In Surah Hud of the Holy Quran, this demand of the leaders of the infidels is mentioned with these words; They said: O Noah! Indeed, you have quarreled with us, so you have quarreled with us a lot, but now bring us that (punishment) which you promise us if you are (truly) truthful.

Surah Hud, verse: 32

demand response and warning

In response to the demand of the disbelievers, Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) said that only Allah has the power to punish you. You will not be able to stop this punishment and you will not be able to avoid it, and on the day when the punishment is revealed to you and you believe after seeing that punishment, then my advice will not be of any benefit to you on that day, because faith is accepted when the punishment is revealed. no. Remember! My advice will benefit you when you believe before witnessing the punishment. (Ruh al-Bayan, Hud, Sub-Ayah: 33 / Tafsir Kabir, Hud, Sub-Ayah: 33)

The address of the infidel leaders to the nation;

 Hearing the invitation of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him), the infidel chiefs said to their people that Noah (peace be upon him) is a man like us who eats and drinks and wants you to accept him as your superior and submit to him so that Let him become a leader and make you submit to him. And if Allah wanted to send a Messenger and forbid polytheism, He would have sent down angels, but He did not do that, and we did not hear from our first fathers and grandfathers that a human being is also a Messenger. Noah! There is a mad man, who is obsessed with madness, so wait for some time until his madness goes away, if it does, then kill them. (Madarak, al-Mu'minun, under al-Ayyah: 24)

This speech of the infidel chiefs is described in Surah Al-Mu'minun of the Holy Qur'an with these words; So the leaders of their people who were disbelieving said: This person is just a human like you (nothing but him), he wants to establish (his) superiority over you, and If Allah had willed (to send a messenger for guidance), He would have sent down the angels. We have not (never) heard of this (that a person like us should be made our Messenger) among our forefathers. This person is nothing but that he has become insane, so wait for him for a while (see what he does next).

Surah Al-Mu'minun, Verse: 24,25

Prayers of Noah;

Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) conveyed the message of Allah to his people and advised them in every way, but the people did not listen to him and none accepted faith except 80 people. When it became known that no one would believe anymore, Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him) prayed in the divine court. These prayers of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) are mentioned in several places in the Holy Quran. In Surah Nuh of the Holy Quran, these prayers of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) are mentioned as follows; Noah (peace be upon him) said: O my Lord! Indeed, I kept calling my people day and night But my invitation didn't do much for them except to run away

And when I called them (to faith) so that You would forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears and wrapped their clothes over themselves and became obstinate (in disbelief) and arrogant. Then I invited them loudly Then I explained to them publicly (also) and explained to them secretly (also). Then I said, "Ask forgiveness from your Lord, surely He is Oft-Forgiving." He will send heavy rain on you And He will help you with wealth and children, and He will grow gardens for you and make rivers flow for you. What has happened to you that you do not believe and know the greatness of Allah?

Although He created you from different conditions Have you not seen how Allah created seven (or more) heavenly spheres in harmony with each other (class by class)? And He made the moon shine in them and He made the sun a lamp (i.e. a source of light and heat). And Allah made you grow from the earth like a green plant Then He will return you to it (land) and (then) bring you out (from it again) And Allah made the earth a floor for you So that you may walk in his wide paths Noah (peace be upon him) said: O my Lord They disobeyed me and followed that (class of rebellious chieftains) whose wealth and offspring brought them nothing but loss. And (in order to mislead the people) they played great tricks And they kept saying, "Do not leave your gods, and do not leave Wadd, Suwa, Yaghuth, Ya'uq, and Nasr." And indeed they have misled many people, so (my Lord!) do not increase (even these) wrongdoers (in anything else) except astray.

Surah Nuh, Verse: 5 to 24

Prophet Noah's prayers for forgiveness for the believers;

 On one occasion, after praying against the infidels, Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) prayed for himself, his parents and believing men and women before Allah, which is described in Surah Nuh of the Holy Quran; O my Lord! Forgive me and my parents and everyone who enters my house as a believer, and do not do anything more to the believing men and the believing women, and to the wrongdoers except death. Surah Nuh, verse: 28

Acceptance of Noah's prayer;

Allah accepted the supplication of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him), saved him and his followers from great grief and helped him against the deniers in such a way that he destroyed all the disbelievers of the nation with punishment. This event is mentioned in Surah Al-Anibaa of the Holy Quran with these words; And remember Noah (peace be upon him) when he called (to us) before them (prophets, peace be upon him), so we accepted his supplication, so we caused him and his family great grief and sorrow. Delivered from And We helped those who used to deny Our revelations in this nation. Indeed, they were (also) a very bad nation, so We drowned them all

Surah al-Anbiya, verse: 76, 77

God's punishment on

Noah's people

Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) lived in his nation for about 950 years, during this entire period, he continued the process of inviting the nation to monotheism and faith and was patient with the hardships and persecutions that came from him. When the people did not stop their actions and kept on disbelief instead of believing, Allah Almighty sent a revelation to Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) that the people of his people who were expected to accept faith accepted faith, they Besides, those who persist in their disbelief will not accept faith any more, so do not be saddened by the denial, mockery and torture you faced from the disbelievers during this long period, and The deeds of these infidels are over and now is the time to take revenge on them.

And surely We sent Noah (peace be upon him) to their people, so he stayed with them for fifty years less than a thousand years, then a storm overtook them while they were unjust. Surah Al-nakba, verse: 14 Similarly, he said in Surah Hud; And it was revealed to Noah (peace be upon him) that (now) none of your people will believe (anymore) except those who have believed (up to that time). K) Do not be saddened by actions

 Surah Hud, verse: 36

order to build a boat;

Since the punishment on the disbelievers could come in many ways, Allah told Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) that the punishment would be in the form of drowning and the only way to escape from drowning was by boat. Noah (peace be upon him) was ordered to prepare an ark. The command to build a boat is mentioned in two places in the Holy Quran. In Surah Hud, Almighty says that; And build an ark in front of us according to our command and do not speak to me about the wrongdoers, they will surely be drowned. Surah Hud, verse: 37

Preparation of Noah's Ark;

It is in the hadiths that Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) planted teak trees by the command of Allah Almighty, these trees grew in twenty years, during this period absolutely no children were born, the children who were born before that became adults and they also refused to accept the invitation of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him), then Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him) engaged in building an ark. (Ruh al-Bayan, Hud, under Al-Ayyah: 37).

Sardars mock the nation and answer them;

Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) continued to build an ark, and whenever any of the chiefs of his people passed by him, he used to make fun of him and say, "O Noah (peace be upon him)!" What are you doing? You used to say that I am building a house that runs on water. They used to laugh because you were building a boat in the forest, where there was no water far away, and they used to say as a joke that you were a prophet first. Now they are carpenters. Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) said to them that some day we will also laugh at you when we see you perish, just like you laugh at the boat, you will soon know the disgraceful and eternal punishment. This dialogue between Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) and his people is mentioned in Surah Hud of the Holy Quran in these words;

And Noah (peace be upon him) continued to build the ark and whenever the chiefs of his people passed by him they would make fun of him. Noah (peace be upon him) used to say: If (today) you mock us, then (tomorrow) we will also mock you as you are mocking. So you will soon know who will be punished (in this world) that will humiliate him and (who will be punished in the Hereafter) forever.

Surah Hud, Verse: 38, 39

The nature and period of construction of Noah's Ark

It is in the traditions that Noah's ark was built in two years, its length was three hundred yards, its width was fifty yards, and its height was thirty yards (there are other sayings). In them were wild animals, beasts and insects, and in the middle level cattle etc. and in the upper level the blessed body of Hazrat Noah himself, his companion and Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him), who was a barrier between women and men, and food items etc. And according to a tradition, the birds were also in the upper level. (Khazan, Hud, under Al-Ayyah: 38).

Time is a sign of punishment and divine commands to Hazrat Noah (peace be upon him)

Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) was busy building the ark until the time came for the punishment to descend on his people and their death. If you see the water boiling in me, understand that the time of the punishment has arrived. (Tafseer Kabir, Hud, under Al-Ayyah: 40). According to some commentators, the earth is meant by this oven, and according to one opinion, this is the oven in which bread is baked. (Khazan, Hud, under Al-Ayyah: 40). It is in the hadiths that when the water in the oven was boiling, Allah commanded Noah (peace be upon him) to put three kinds of things in the boat;

One pair of male and female of each sex;

Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) took with him one pair of all the animals that gave birth or laid eggs in the boat. Animals would come to you and you would ride the male with your right hand and the female with your left hand. In some traditions, it is said that the snake and the scorpion appeared in the presence of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) and requested that we also be with them. When they got on board, Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) said that because of you, we should not get into any trouble, so I can't get you on board. He asked that you take us on board, we guarantee you that we will not harm anyone who mentions you. Therefore, whoever fears harm from snakes and scorpions, then the verse of Surah Al-Safaat79 read it, God willing, he will be protected from the harm of snakes and scorpions.

Hazrat Nuh's family;

There were seven people in the family of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him), Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him), his three sons Sam, Ham, Yafeth and their wives.

Followers of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him);

 Those who believed in Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) were 80 people (there are many sayings about their number). The aforementioned signs of punishment and riding in a boat are mentioned in Surah Hud of the Holy Quran with these words;

Even when Our commandment (of punishment) came and the furnace (like springs of water) began to boil with fervor (then) We said: (O Noah!) In this ark two of each sex (male and female) in number. Take the accompanying couple on board and (take) your family members too, except those on whom the decree (of destruction) has already been issued, and (take with you) whoever has believed, and a few (people). No one had believed with them except

Surah Hud, verse: 40

In the above mentioned verse, who said that punishment will come upon those from your house, on whom the matter has already been decided, he means Waila, the wife of Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him), who did not believe, and her son is Canaan, Allah Almighty. He also decided to kill him.

Commanding the believers to ride in the boat;

After taking one pair of male and female from each gender into the boat, Hazrat Nuh (peace be upon him) said to the people of faith that you should board this boat saying that the boat moves and stays in the name of Allah alone. Surely my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful. This incident has been described in Surah Hud of the Holy Quran; And Nuh (peace be upon him) said: You people ride in it, in the name of Allah alone is it to move and it is to stay. Indeed, my Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful Surah Hud, verse: 41
