Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him) (Part I)

Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him) is the son of Hazrat Yaqub (peace be upon him), the grandson of Hazrat Ishq (peace be upon him) and the great-grandson of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Mother Rachel died during the birth of Hazrat Yusuf's younger brother Benjamin. In this way, Allah Ta'ala blessed Hazrat Yaqoob (AS) with 12 sons

But Rachel gave birth to two sons, Joseph and Benjamin. Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.) was also beautiful in beauty like his mother. Father loved him immensely and did not separate him from himself it is said in the tradition that Rachel, the beloved wife of Hazrat Yaqub, had also made a special will for him. Now they were also motherless and younger than ten half-brothers. Then, one of the reasons for the intense closeness and love was that Hazrat Yaqoob (A.S.) had also observed the shining light of prophecy on the forehead of Hazrat Yusuf (A.S.).

The story of Hazrat Yusuf (peace be         upon him) in the Holy Quran

1The story of Hazrat Yusuf (AS) is described in Surah Yusuf, a whole surah consisting of one hundred and eleven verses of the Holy Qur'an. The event described in this Surah is called "Ahsan al-Qasas" meaning "the best event". In fact, in this instructive incident, the end of envy and stubbornness, rebellions of the self, lessons, wisdom, sermons and advices, human disorders and accidents, human slips, patience and perseverance and with satisfaction and submission to the justice and justice of Allah and The charisma of mercy and kindness presented in a touching and beautiful manner is a beacon for humanity for the rest of the world.

In the Holy Qur'an, the name of Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him) appears twenty-six times, out of which twenty-four times in Surah Yusuf, while he is mentioned once in Surah Inam and Surah Ghafir.

            Hazrat Yusuf's dream

Hazrat Yusuf had not even reached the age of puberty when he saw a dream. Which he mentioned to his father like this, "O Abba Jan! I saw the eleven stars, the sun and the moon, that they were all prostrating to me." (Surah Yusuf 4:) When Hazrat Yaqub (A.S.) heard the dream of his son, he understood that he would grow up to a great position from Allah Ta'ala. Will be held. That's why they were afraid that Yusuf's half-brothers, after estimating his greatness, would be seduced by Satan and become his enemies and not harm him. So he said, "Dear son! Do not mention this dream of yours to your brothers. Lest they deceive you. There is no doubt that Satan is the open enemy of man." (Surah Yusuf 5:)

According to the commentators, it has been written that when Hazrat Yusuf (a.s.) was talking to his father in his dream, the step-mother was listening to his father's words. When the stepchildren came home, he told them about it. They were also jealous of Hazrat Yusuf (AS), so he acted as fuel for the fire. It was not surprising that his half-brother was ahead of him in prestige and status. So they all decided to separate Hazrat Yusuf from his father. They said to each other, "Kill Yusuf (either with his life) or throw him to some country." Then Abba's attention will turn only towards you and after that you will be in a good condition.'' A convoy should take him out.

Surah Yusuf 9,10:) The commentators write that the suggestion to put it in the well was made by the older half-brother, Judah. The next day, ten brothers came to the father's service and said, "Abba! After all, why don't you trust us about Yusuf. We are their well-wishers. Tomorrow you must send him with us to eat, drink and play well. We are responsible for his protection." Hazrat Yaqoob (A.S.) said, "This matter makes me sad that you take him and there is also a fear that you may neglect him (in the game) and the wolf eats him. They replied, "Even in the presence of a powerful group like us, if they are eaten by a wolf, then we will be completely defeated." Then he reminded these ten sons of Yusuf's protection. Hazrat Yaqoob (AS) went with them for a long distance. As long as the father remained, he carried the brother in his arms, but as soon as he was out of sight,

They started beating Yusuf from his lap. Their hearts were made of stone. I once again had compassion in the heart of the elder brother, Judah. He said, "Don't waste the child like that." A well near here, pour into it. If bitten by a snake etc., it will die and if it survives, a large caravan may come here and take it with them. Thus your purposeyFrom the point of view.'' Judah agrees. It has been described in the Holy Qur'an that We sent revelation to Yusuf when they took him and decided to take him to the bottom of an uninhabited deep canyon. (Surah Yusuf 15:) It is narrated that at that time Hazrat Yusuf (peace be upon him) will forgive you for this behavior for seven years. (Mozhari) Imam Qurtubi has also said that when Yusuf (a.s.) was put in the cage,

Inside the Well Imam Qurtubi and other commentators have described the incident of putting Hazrat Yusuf (AS) in the well in such a way that when they started to put him, he clung to the temple of the well. The brothers tied their hands. Hazrat Yusuf asked for mercy from his brothers, but got the answer, "Call the eleven stars that prostrate before you, they will help you." When he arrived, he cut the rope of the bucket. Allah Ta'ala protected Hazrat Yusufhe did not get hurt due to falling into the water. They saw a stone rock nearby and sat on it. In some hadiths, it is said that Allah Ta'ala commanded Hazrat Gabriel (AS) and he made Hazrat Yusuf (AS) sit on this rock. He remained in this well for three days. Brother Yehuda secretly brought food and water to them every day and delivered it to them through a bucket

Moaning in front of his father After putting Hazrat Yusuf (AS) in the well, he was worried about how he would answer his father, so he slaughtered a goat and put its blood on the kurta of Hazrat Yusuf (AS) and moaned at the time of Isha. Kartan reached his father and said, "Abba John!" We all started running and we made Yusuf (a.s.) sit next to the luggage. A wolf ate them. And why do you start believing us, even though we are true." (Surah Yusuf 17:)

Commentators write that they did not leave the shirt soaked in blood, but even if Yusuf eats it, the shirt remains intact. Hazrat Yaqub saw that you said this. He said, "My son! How wise and wise was he to eat Yusuf (a) in such a way that he was not even torn by the kurta and remained intact? Remembrance is better for me than patience, and I seek help from Allah about what you describe.” (Surah Yusuf 18)It is in Qurtubi's Commentary on the Help of Allah that a trade caravan, which was going from the country of Syria to Egypt, lost its way and reached this uninhabited forest. The people of the caravan were looking for water when a man Malik bin Da Harry reached that well. He threw a bucket to fetch water, Hazrat Yusuf (A.S.) grabbed the rope of the bucket. Malik bin Da Harry pulled the doll up, seeing it was heavy, but when he saw a young boy with the doll, he cried out with joy, "Hey! It is a matter of great joy. He turned out to be a very good boy.

The commentators write that the half-brother used to bring food every day. On that day, when he came to the well and did not find Yusuf, he called the brothers. Everyone went to the caravan looking for Yusuf and said to them, "The boy you have is our slave, he has run away from us." It is useless to us now. If you want, then buy it.'' Hazrat Ibn Masoud and Hazrat Ibn Abbas say that these brothers sold Hazrat Yusuf for twenty dirhams and divided two dirhams between them.
